The Foundation participated in a Training course in Manchester (UK), promoted by WONDER4WOMEN and financed by the European Union program Youth In Action.
From the 21st to the 24th of February, the participants, coming from Sweden, Ireland, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain and the UK, studied ways of reinforcing existing ties in society, making use of the internet, cooperation and interchange of experiences and good practices all more efficient, in order to propose a common project for society.
The project financed by the Youth in Action program is called Women working on the Internet for youth organisations and its main goal is to develop a transnational training program throughout Europe, based on innovation, training, and leadership skills, strengthening life styles and behaviour which encourage full development of a woman`s role in civil European and international society, through formal and non-formal education.
The economic and social situation in which we live makes the personal development of young people through work more important than ever. With this in mind, this project will pay special attention to the needs of those who have fewer opportunities, are at risk of giving up school or perform poorly at school.
